EDUCATION

West Chester University of Pennsylvania
B.S. Kinesiology
Minor: Nutrition (Cum Laude)

Having a four-year Bachelor’s of Science degree in Kinesiology means that not only am I certified, but have achieved 128 college credits in all aspects of exercise, anatomy, physiology, nutrition and other required general and elective educational courses.

Kinesiology is the discipline emphasizing the study of movement as it relates to physical activity, health and disease prevention, exercise, and sport.

It’s research ranges from basic to applied, it involves the study of physical activity and its impact on health, society, and quality of life.

It includes, but is not limited to, such areas of study as exercise science, sports management, athletic training and sports medicine, socio-cultural analyses of sports, sport and exercise psychology, fitness leadership, physical education-teacher education, and pre-professional training for physical therapy, occupational therapy, medicine and other health related fields.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. I'd like to take a moment and introduce myself:

Congratulations! You've decided it's time to take action and change your lifestyle; which often isn't easy. I truly believe the first step is the most difficult one, but often the most important.

My name is Rich Noto, and I have been working professionally as a certified personal trainer for over 20 years. I graduated with honors from West Chester University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor's of science degree in Kinesiology (study of human movement) and Nutrition.

My clientele list includes people from a wide range of abilities, such as, individuals with limited or no training experience, individuals needing to break plateaus, gain lean muscle mass, lose weight, get more toned, rehabilitation, increase strength, youth sports performance, and all the way up to collegiate and professional athletes.

After graduating college with honors, my professional career started as a thriving Private Trainer at New York City's premier training facility, The Sports Club- LA Rockefeller Center. Within my first year at The Sports Club, I was promoted to Master Trainer.

During that time, I immersed myself in my career, perpetually learning and growing as a trainer, and as a person. I maintained a strong work ethic and endlessly strove to become one of the best in my field.

Upon relocating to San Diego I became a Fitness Manager of a newly built upscale health club. As the fitness manager, I created and developed their highly successful personal training program.

After these accomplishments, the natural progression of my career was to open my own personal training business: Visualize Fitness.

After living in San Diego for more than a decade, I decided to start my next chapter in Arizona and open a fitness studio: Fitness 48.
I want to take my success and experience achieved in California and apply those lessons in Arizona. At my facility, clients can achieve their results in a welcoming, clean, and positive environment.

I’m proud to continue Visualize Fitness at my studio and throughout the Phoenix metro area. I'm also looking forward to helping more clients achieve their fitness goals.

Although I am an experienced and educated trainer, I often struggle with the same challenges my clients face.

Just because I am a trainer does not mean I want to eat healthy foods for every meal and have the motivation to workout every day!

Guess what… YOU DON’T HAVE TO EITHER.

What fun would life be if that was the only path to your goals? I could never imagine giving up pizza or ice cream!

Personal training is NOT a diet or a trainer barking orders at you in the gym. It is a lifestyle change; a lifestyle change that allows you to enjoy the pleasures in life while still achieving your goals.

I develop a valuable trust and personal relationship with all my clients. I always encourage my clients to call or text me at any time, whether they have questions or maybe just need to talk.

It is important to remember that as your trainer and friend, I will be by your side every step of the way, progressing with you on your life changing fitness journey.

In addition to personal training, you will receive an education. After completion of training, my clients possess the skills and knowledge to maintain their lifestyles and physique. In fact, their friends and family often ask them for advice!

If you are reading this, it may be because you are seeking a change in your health, confidence, or appearance. There is no better way to achieve your fitness goals than with a personal trainer.

Let's face it, getting fit is not easy. If it were, everyone would be in shape. However, you can make it easier and more fun by allowing someone with the experience and knowledge to guide you.

You bring your dedication, and I will do the rest.

Sincerely,

Rich
